At our clinic we practice
“The Balance Method” of acupuncture.

In The Balance Method, fewer needles are typically used than in traditional treatments.

The injured or painful area is very rarely needled. Treatment is done using secondary points called distal points.

Using distal points allows us to treat the injured or painful area without causing any further trauma to the area.

Most of the points involved are located on the arms, legs or head which allows patients to stay fully clothed.

By using distal points, there can be more than one approach to treatment. Having multiple treatment options can usually bring results.

With this method, changes can often be seen immediately which can be encouraging.

The Balance Method was compiled by Richard The-Fu Tan, O.M.D., L.Ac.
